Fertifa acquires Tuune, strengthening its personalised women’s healthcare offering
We have some exciting news to share: Fertifa has acquired Tuune.

Fertifa
FertifaTuune is a women’s health technology company that built regulated clinical software to support personalised hormonal healthcare. In practice, that means helping clinicians find the right, evidence-based treatment options for each person across contraception and menopause.
We’re bringing Tuune’s technology and research together with our in-house clinical team and benefits platform. Our clinical objectives are the same: care that fits the individual, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Why personalised care matters
Finding the right contraception or menopause treatment can feel like trial and error. No two people have the same symptoms, medical history or needs, and their care shouldn’t look the same either.
Tuune’s technology draws on thousands of scientific publications and looks at more than 70 symptoms, alongside a person’s medical history and individual needs. It then helps clinicians decide which treatment options are likely to work best for that person.
Why Tuune and why now?
Since we started Fertifa in 2019, our mission has been to cover the healthcare needs that often go underserved at work. That began with fertility and family-forming and has grown to include men’s health, women’s health and menopause, neurodiversity, weight management, infant care and maternity. Tuune’s focus on personalised, evidence-based care fits naturally with what we already do.
“Fertifa and Tuune have always shared a commitment to making personalised, evidence-based healthcare more accessible. This acquisition takes us another step forward in that mission and at an exciting time, as Fertifa continues to expand to cover more underserved healthcare needs for employees.” - Eileen Burbidge MBE, Executive Director, Fertifa
A word from Tuune’s founder
Shardi Nahavandi founded Tuune because she wanted women to feel heard when it came to their hormonal health. We’re proud to be carrying that work forward.
“Tuune has always been about helping women feel understood and receive care that reflects their individual needs. We’ve built technology that brings scientific evidence and a detailed understanding of each woman together. I’m proud that Fertifa will take this work forward and help bring it to more people.” - Shardi Nahavandi, Founder, Tuune
What this means for employers and their people
For employees, this means hormonal healthcare that takes their whole picture into account, from the clinicians who already support them through Fertifa.
For employers, it means one benefit that covers even more of the health needs your people face, including fertility, menopause, contraception, neurodiversity, weight management, and mental health. All of it is backed by our in-house clinical team.
