Supporting our patients, every step of the way.

Studies have shown that women in England live on average four years longer than men but spend more of their life in poor health. Our Women's Health programme takes a holistic approach to women's health, covering the most common and complicated women's health challenges, so these health issues and their impact on women are no longer overlooked.

the impact

50% of women see more than 3 health professionals to establish a diagnosis of PCOS

1 in 10 women are affected by PCOS, making it one of the most common endocrine and women's health issues. One of the main symptoms of PCOS is fatigue and exhaustion, which can have a significant impact on someone's working life.
The impact

Period pain leads to an average of 9 days of lost productivity for women each year

Only 20% of women told their work that the real reason they took a day off of work was because of their period. By supporting women and people who menstruate through menstrual health challenges, workplaces are creating environments that are inclusive to everyone.
The impact

1 in 6 people consider quitting their jobs because of endometriosis

Endometriosis costs the UK economy £8.2 billion a year in loss of work and healthcare. Fifty-four per cent of the “worst affected” women experienced a reduction in earnings as a direct result of having endometriosis.
